Branch Transformation (Updated)
We’ve transformed our branch services
Our selected branches have now been successfully transformed into Smart Financial Centers (SFCs). We’d like to share what’s new and how you can continue to access our services smoothly.
Several alrajhi bank Malaysia branches across the country were transformed into Smart Financial Centers (SFCs) between 23 February 2026 and 4 March 2026.
These centers are designed to make your banking experience simpler through digital and self-service options. As part of this transformation, some over-the-counter (OTC) services have been discontinued, and a few locations will be gradually phased out.
Branches with no changes
The following branches continue to operate as full-service branches:
- Bangsar
- Kuching
Branches now operating as Smart Financial Centers

- Ipoh
- Sungai Petani
- Kota Bharu
- Kota Damansara
- Melaka
Transitioned on 4 March 2026
- Kota Kinabalu
- Johor Bahru
- Shah Alam
- Kuantan
Services no longer available at Smart Financial Centers
To support a more streamlined digital experience, the following services have been discontinued at SFCs:
- Cash deposits and withdrawals over the counter
- Notes exchange
- Cashier's order issuance
- Cheque encashment and OTC cheque deposits
- Financing-related statement requests and early statements
- Deceased account notifications/takaful claims for financing
- Physical gold selling
- Safe deposit box services (also discontinued at branches)
