How e-Invoicing
works for you

e-Invoicing is an on-request service. This means we will only issue an e-Invoice for your account when you ask for one.

Follow these simple steps to get set up for e-Invoicing.

Step 1: Gather your details
Before you begin, please have the following information ready:
  • Your Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Your Sales and Service Tax (SST) Registration Number (if applicable)
  • Your Malaysia Standard Industrial Classification (MSIC) Code (if applicable)
Step 2: Complete the request form
Download and fill out the e-Invoice request form to provide us with your details.

Step 3: Submit your form
Simply hand in the completed form at your nearest alrajhi bank branch or give it directly to your Relationship Manager. They'll handle the rest!

Think of an e-Invoice as a digital version of your usual paper invoices, credit notes, or debit notes. It’s simply a digital record of a transaction between a business and a customer, designed to replace physical documents.

Starting 1 July 2025, alrajhi bank Malaysia will fully comply with e-Invoice requirements as outlined by Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) / Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) through Individual e-Invoice, Self-Billed e-Invoice, and Consolidated e-Invoice.

The statements you currently receive from alrajhi bank Malaysia will stay the same. An e-Invoice will simply be an extra document we provide if you request it.

We'll only generate an e-Invoice for you when you ask for it.

e-Invoices will usually be issued on a monthly basis.

To make sure you get your e-Invoice smoothly, we’ll send it right to your email address. Please remember to provide a valid and active email so it reaches you without a problem.

Yes, the following information will be required from customers who require an e-Invoice:
  • Name
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Registration / Identification Number / Passport Number
  • Email
  • Address
  • Contact Number
  • SST Registration Number – only for SST registrants
