Upholding Islamic Values and Caring for Society
“We are proud to have partnered with EZ Qurban Sdn. Bhd, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and IKIM to offer our Muslim colleagues the opportunity to participate in this holy and sacred act of qurban,” said Syahrul Ishak, the Chief Executive Officer of alrajhi bank Malaysia. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to caring for society by supporting the well-being of the asnaf (eligible beneficiaries) in Malaysia. We hope that the contribution made by my colleagues and me towards the qurban will enable a more inclusive Aidiladha celebration for those in need.”
Enriching the Community
“This program also helps the poor and the asnaf among UPM students enjoy the sacrificial meat, and it directly has a positive impact on the entire community involved. The program gives international students the opportunity to experience Aidiladha festivities in Malaysia and foster a spirit of friendship between UPM students and staff in carrying out the qurban sacrifice,” said Prof. Dr. Alyani Ismail, Director of i-PUTRA.
