Kuala Lumpur – Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia treated its clients and business partners to Arabian-infused Eid delicacies at its Eid Mubarak Open House held in Kuala Lumpur recently.

The event, which had a considerable dash of Arabian flavours and treats, was held from afternoon to evening at Al Rawsha Restaurant in Kg Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. The Arabian restaurant was selected to help exude the Arabian theme chosen as an homage to the roots of the company, which originates in Saudi Arabia. The venue was fully decked out in Arabian décor to emanate the theme’s vibe, while the food served was Arabian through and through; though not wanting to forget its Malaysian pedigree and traditions, the guests were served classic Malay Raya food like rendang, ketupat and lemang as well.

In line with its CSR initiative, the Bintang Raudhah nasyid group of Pondok Penyayang Raudhah was selected to entertain the approving audience. The band, which is made up of several of the charity home’s caretakers and children and led vocally by a twelve-year-old boy, was a hit as they entertained the crowd throughout the event with their nasyid renditions.

Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Encik Azrulnizam Abdul Aziz and his colleagues from all divisions hosted some 500 guests til evening. Some of the prominent guests present were CEO & Executive Director Fund Management, AmInvestment Bank Group Datin Maznah Mahbob, OCBC Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Nasruddin Bahari and Maybank Islamic Berhad CEO Muzaffar Hisham.
